In Rylen-1, Di Nicolantonio introduces the most wearable vision in The Augmented series a figure defined not by implants or surgical modification, but by the seamless integration of technology as object, as accessory, as second skin. A pair of AR lenses sits flush against the face rectangular, architectural, their dark surfaces reflecting a world we cannot see. At the ear, an organic audio interface curves with the precision of a product designed by someone who understood that the body is the ultimate brief.

This is the near future. Not 2080 next year. The hardware already exists in prototype. The aesthetics are being designed right now in labs in Cupertino, Seoul, and Shenzhen. What Di Nicolantonio adds is the one thing those labs cannot produce: a sense of what it will feel like to wear it. Not the specification. The experience.

Rylen-1 does not look like someone wearing technology. She looks like someone for whom technology has always been part of getting dressed. The interface is not a tool. It is a choice as deliberate, as personal, and as defining as any other element of how she presents herself to the world.

This is augmentation as identity. This is where wearable AI begins.
